Global Evangelistic Network - Brief History of GEN
Brief History of GEN

Global Evangelistic Network was founded in 2002 with the purpose of spreading the life changing message of Jesus Christ worldwide. Evangelist Daniel Schott has been the president of GEN since the beginning. Before founding GEN, Evangelist Schott was already preparing intensively for the ministry and had his first evangelistic ministry experiences in English speaking countries. By that time God had already confirmed several times Daniel's call to world evangelism. Mission trips to Africa and Asia followed.

At the beginning of 2005 the Lord spoke to Daniel, and told him that his preaching would be accompanied with demonstrations of the Spirit's power. During a Gospel meeting in Kenya, the same year, God gave Daniel a breakthrough into the supernatural. Since then, his ministry is accompanied by miracles, signs, and wonders. During conferences and revival meetings people experience God's presence and are empowered by the Holy Spirit.

While ministering as an Evangelist, Daniel studied intensively the Evangelistic ministry of Reinhard Bonnke in Africa. This study specifically prepared him for his ministry in Africa.

As GEN bought a building in 2011, Minden became the home base for the ministry. Soon afterwards the production of TV shows started. Already in 2007 TV programmes had been aired in Pakistan. Since then, programmes have been aired in Asia (47 countries), Australia, Europe, and in African countries.

Through the media work and the mission trips of Evangelist Schott, millions of people are being reached. Many thousands have been saved and healed. In October 2014 GEN was privileged to finance a groundbreaking Gospel meeting in Pakistan. Evangelist Schott preached to more than 100,000 people daily.
